Feeling Into
This work was a 2 week long interactive installation presenting objects from a fantastical world where the tactile sense is paramount. Consisting of gelatin sculptures of various shapes and sizes emphasized by light, the piece came together to create an otherworldly moving form. The audience was not only invited to view the piece, but was also allowed to touch them. The installation slowly decayed and shriveled up over the course of a few days before being replaced by exact replicants to then undergo the same process. This decay and the effects of the audience's touch rendered the imprint of human interaction entirely visible and tangible.
